Spoken Word Performances

The East Orange Campus High School Open Mic Spoken Word/Poetry Club participants showcase their talent through performances of reciting their poetry, singing original or musical artists' songs, or even demonstrating their instrumental ability. It's a potpourri of creatively brilliant and inspiring artists. It is the aim and purpose of the participants to perform during special school event assemblies, in addition to orchestrating original winter and spring showcases. Currently, the club performs for only East Orange Campus High School, but we are looking into prospective performances in other outside public venues to broaden the exposure and experience of our artists. There is no exclusivity to the club other than being a student at EO Campus HS; we welcome all poets, singers, and musicians to join and participate in the performances.
